Built at the end of the 19th century, it was the heart of a farm where wheat, wine, and cheese were produced, and where life followed the natural rhythm of the seasons.
Today, the Masseria has been brought back to life through careful restoration, preserving the original stone, star-shaped vaulted ceilings, and the authentic atmosphere of rural Salento life.

A RESTORATION RESPECTING THE PLACE'S HERITAGE
Masseria Aia Nuova has been brought back to life thanks to the work and passion of Giovanna, Stefano, Chiara, and Alessandro, who chose to restore it to its original appearance while respecting its authentic soul.
Every phase of the restoration was guided by a simple principle: to preserve the architectural and material truth of the place. The star-shaped vaulted ceilings, pietra leccese, tuff, and other local materials were carefully recovered and enhanced, following the original design of the 19th-century Masseria.
CRAFTSMANSHIP AND TRADITION IN DESIGN
The interiors tell the story of a perfect balance between past and present. Alongside historical elements, you’ll find custom-designed furnishings created by local artisans: unique hand-forged iron pieces, crafted with the skill of Salento’s traditional masters.
Many accessories come from local markets and workshops: recovered, restored, and chosen for their character and history. Each piece is unique, and every object tells a fragment of rural life, a gesture, a memory.
AN ESSENTIAL AND CONTEMPORARY STYLE
Completing the atmosphere of the Masseria are modern elements with a clean, minimalist design, thoughtfully integrated to provide comfort and functionality without altering the building’s historic identity.
The result is a sober and harmonious style, where stone, light, and natural materials remain the true protagonists.
